A Campfire

After our afternoon nap, Baboo made a campfire.  What's camping without a campfire.
Bubbles moved my blanket and bed closer to the fire, so I wouldn't get cold once the sun went down.
Bubbles relaxing with me on my blanket.
This camping is pretty cool.

Camping Day 1 - Back in Camp

We got back to camp and it was time to relax.  I've got this nice pad to ly on this camping isn't so bad.  So Baboo is in his chair and I'm on my pad.

Bubbles had to get on my pad with me, it's photo op time, was bright and sunny, didn't come out to good of me.  But there are lots more.
Baboo spread out my pad and moved it under a tree, it started to get warm.
Bubbles and Baboo like this spot so much because the creek runs right next to it.  I kind of like that too, you know me and water, so here I am exploring it.
But of course what's a good stream if you don't ly down in it.
Of course after all that setting up camp, hiking, playing in the creek on the hill and in camp, it was time to take an afternoon nap.

Camping at the Crags - Day 1

After Baboo got the camp site set up we went for a hike up towards Devil's Playground.  I could hear the water not frar from the trail, so we went looking and I found this swimming hole.
It was deep enough I had to swim, the first time I really ever swam.  Pretty cool.
There was even a slide you could slide from a small pool down into the big one.  I don't know if I slipped or actually slid, Bubbles was a bit concerned.
Bubbles threw a ball into the pond, and it ended up by the slide.
I got the ball.
I swam for a bit longer, and then we headed back down to camp.  Notice I still have the ball.  It was a really fun time.  More to come, Bubbles and Baboo took lots of pictures of me.

Play Date with Toby

The other day Bubbles took me up to see my friend Toby.  We got to wrestle in his back yard.  It's always alot of fun.  Last time I was at his house there was still snow, and I was alot littler.
We then moved inside.
It was at Toby's I learned to crawl under the table, I was chasing him under there.  Even though I'm bigger I can still get under there.
Well while I'm under here Toby can't get me, we both don't fit to well.

Take Me Out to the Ballgame

Well it's summer time and Colton and Zachary are playing baseball.  I've never been to a baseball game, so the first game I went to was Colton.  Zachary plays on the same nights, so I can't be in two places at once, so we went to see Colton's.
This is all really new to me, so much to see and do.  Colton's team is up to bat, I'm checking ou the batters.
There's Colton he's on deck, will be up to bat soon.
Taking that practice swing.
It's a swing and a miss, but he hit the next one, guess Baboo didn't get a picture of that one.
Bubbles brought me some stuff to keep me busy.  I love the Peanut Butter she puts in these toys.
A busy puppy is a good puppy.
Bubbles brought a tennis ball for me too.  I like them, and rolling around in this grass is really nice too.

My Cousins Come to Play

Zachary and Colton came to visit Bubbles and me the other day, and I just had to take them to the creek by our house.  It was flowing pretty good, but I lead the way.
Here I am just workiing my way up stream.
Zachary found a big stick, and Colton found one too, but I just kept going after my tennis ball.
Come on guys, but be careful it's a little deep right here.
Now they are leading the way, but I got my ball that was floating back towards me in this wave.
Boy a day in the creek with my cousins, is sure alot of fun.
When we got back to my house, the boys got to get in the hot tub, I don't know if that's fair.
Well at least I get to ly one the step, it's my favorite spot.
Well with the misters on I can get cool too, why they get warm.
I sure had fun playing with Zachary and Colton, but when they left, I just had to crash.

Hiking in Colorado

This is the start of the Crags trail, if you go straight you go to the Crags, but if you go to the right, it takes you up to the top of Pikes Peak, through Devil's Playground, guess which way we went?
We chose the path less traveled, and headed up towards Devil's Playground, because the rules say you can be off a leash if you'll come right away on command, well I'm not quite that way yet, I just want to meet everyone, so that's why we took the path less traveled, and I found some snow, I love snow.
Every pile we found, I just rolled in it, and the higher we went the bigger they got.
Here's a bigger one.
I just love the snow.
Here's Baboo and me sitting on a rock.
Here's Bubbles and me on another rock.
Here's me on my own rock.
Then I found a creek and snow, what's better than that, water and snow on the same hike.
Bubbles and Babbo said we're going to come up here and spend a couple of days camping, I've never been camping so will see how that turns out.

King of the Bed

Sometimes Bubbles uses this machine all over the rugs and she picks my bed up and puts it on their bed, so guess what.  I get to be King of the Bed on my Bed on their Bed, or something like that.  It's really comfy.

Bear Creek Dog Park

We are lucky to live by the Bear Creek Dog Park.  It's been ranked as one of the top 10 dog parks in the country.  We go some times twice a day, and it's really a great place.  It's over 10 acres of fenced park.  Here I am walking with Bubbles up the trail.  I was running towards Baboo.
Did I mention there is a creek running through it.  On a hot day it's nice to cool off.  Right here by this little water fall is like sitting in a "cool tub" whirlpool.
This is my friend Dude, he's lying in the upper part of the creek, I think I got the better deal.  Dude is really cool, we play alot together.  He used to have a Golden brother named Cuervo also, now that is a BIG coincidence, especially since he moved here from New Jersey.
I think these guys are jealous of my position int he creeek, I'm burying my head under the water, maybe they won't notice me.  Plus trying to find sticks to grab under the water, I like sticks.
Whoo, after you get back from an outing at the park, you surely need a nap.
